How can CostRouter offer you discounted rates?
Our purchasing and usage volumes give us access to discounts, and we pass those savings on to you so you can enjoy genuine models at preferential rates. We offer Value and Standard channels to suit different needs. Both guarantee genuine models, with prices varying by model and group.
Value channel
We purchase account subscriptions in bulk, manage those accounts centrally, and make their model access available through a unified API to reduce costs. We take care of subscriptions, renewals, and day-to-day account maintenance for you. Simply connect to our API to enjoy genuine models at lower rates, with more time to focus on your projects.

Standard channel
We combine committed-use discounts from Azure, AWS and Vertex AI with direct connections to official model APIs. We recommend the Standard channel for enterprise use.
Model authenticity and refunds
We guarantee that every channel delivers the model you select, with no substitution or downgrade. You can verify model authenticity using any method you choose. If you have evidence that a model we provided is not genuine, contact support with the evidence and we will issue a refund.
If a provider advertises direct access to official APIs at prices well below market rates, we recommend checking that the models are genuine, access is obtained lawfully, and your data rights are protected before choosing the service.
How do I connect my existing app or coding tool?
Create an account and an API key, then set your tool’s API endpoint to CostRouter and enter your key and a supported model. The quickstart guide includes setup instructions and working examples for compatible SDKs and popular coding tools.
How does billing work, and where can I review my charges?
You pay for actual usage at the rates for your selected model and group, with no subscription fee. You can check rates on the model pricing page and review token usage and charges for each request in your dashboard.
Do you store my prompts or model responses?
CostRouter does not store your request content or model outputs and does not use them to train models.
How do I get help with a payment or API issue?
Open a support ticket for payment, account, or API issues. Include the order or request ID and a description of the problem. You can follow all replies and status updates in the same ticket.
